Engaging, hour-long private tours are led by trained Museum guides and offer extraordinary opportunities for your group to make the most of their encounters with great works of art. One guide is provided for every 25 people, depending upon the topic.
Private guided visits should be requested at least three weeks in advance. Guided visits may be arranged with less notice on a limited basis, subject to guide availability. Additional rush fees apply.
Groups may explore the Museum’s collection and special exhibitions independently, and are welcome to visit with their own lecturer or purchase Audio Guides to enhance their Museum experience. Self-guided visits should be requested at least one week in advance. Visits may be arranged with less notice, subject to availability.
A Museum-issued badge is required in order to lecture in the galleries and must be reserved in advance. Self-guided groups may have no more than 25 people per lecturer.
Please note that lecturing may be restricted or prohibited in some special exhibitions.
The Museum cannot guarantee access to all galleries at all times.

Priced at $3,000 for up to 25 guests, the HKMM tour is your chance to experience the depth and breadth of HKMM collection in an exclusive way.
Continue exploring the galleries on your own after the tour! Your HKMM ticket includes admission valid for three consecutive days at HKMM Fifth Avenue, HKMM , and The Met Cloisters, with access to all exhibitions.

We regret that picnic facilities are not available inside the Museum. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic on the plaza in front of The Met Fifth Avenue or in Central Park.
Group dining options are not available at HKMM Breuer or HKMM Cloisters.
