Filmmaking
With the increase in students’ time spent watching movies, TV, and YouTube in the past few months, there is no doubt that film is an important source of entertainment for all. But did you know that film can also be a creative outlet for students to address and express their emotions during uncertain times?
Through Babel Film Workshop’s highly interactive Filmmaking curriculum, students will learn to use available technology to create a short film about their experiences during the pandemic. In our last class, parents will be invited to a premiere of the students’ films followed by a Q&A at Metropolis Museum.
Students are encouraged to bring and use their own mobile filmmaking equipment (ie. mobile phone camera and laptop or tablet for editing).
